For me this winter couldn't have been more about camel coats, capes and fur gilets. Although we're still only in November, I am completely sick of all three of mine, and have found the greatest micro-trend to counter my mid-winter coat fatigue. The parka, formerly a perfect spring or autumn alternative to a jacket or cardi, has been reinvented and reinforced with some serious shearling and fur trims to bring it through to winter. The winter parka also offers a more casual outerwear alternative to the uber "fashion" capes and masculine camel numbers which we all (rather bravely) embraced with open arms in recent months.
