Patrick Mavros' silver jewellery has really caught my eye this week. Based in a wildlife sanctuary in Zimbabwe, Mavros creates fantastic chunky silver jewellery inspired by the native wildlife of the Harare hills. His story is a great one too... Patrick began his career as a jewellery designer when he carved his newly-married wife a pair of ivory earrings in the shape of her favourite flowers- roses. Word soon spread of his talent and the rest is history. My pic from the current collection is this set of three elephant rings, that can be bought seperately or stacked, and are available from his Fulham Road store.
